TIGERS Arts and Sports Club, Aanakkampoyil brings people together through sporting activities, arts, cultural celebrations, youth engagement and community initiatives.
Our purpose goes beyond events and competitions. We want to create opportunities for children and young people, support the wider community when it matters, preserve local culture and work towards long-term facilities that benefit everyone.

A Public Playground for Aanakkampoyil
A safe, open and accessible place where our children and youth can play, practise, compete and grow.
Aanakkampoyil currently needs a dedicated open playground that can serve the wider community. TIGERS considers this one of the club’s most important long-term goals.
Making this vision a reality will require suitable land, strong public participation, support from landowners and well-wishers, collaboration with local and government authorities, formal representations and memorandums, necessary approvals, and sustained community effort.

Set among the lush hills, coconut groves and flowing waters of Kozhikode district, Aanakkampoyil is the home and identity of TIGERS. These local scenes reflect the community, landscape and everyday life that bring the club together.

Disaster Response Team
Aanakkampoyil’s location near the Western Ghats means the community can face difficult monsoon conditions, including flooding and landslide risks. TIGERS has formed a community-oriented disaster response initiative and is working to strengthen a volunteer team with people who have practical local experience.
The aim is to improve preparedness, mobilise volunteers quickly, support local coordination and assist the community during emergencies while working alongside the appropriate authorities and professional emergency services.
Volunteer with the TeamBuild awareness, readiness and a dependable volunteer network.
Help organise information, people and community-level support when needed.
Assist during floods, landslide-related situations and other natural emergencies within the team’s capabilities.
Grow the group with experienced volunteers and future training opportunities.

Our new membership campaign has begun. We welcome all residents of the Aanakkampoyil area who are interested in sports, arts and cultural activities.

Membership starts at age 12. For ages 12–17, a parent or lawful guardian must contact the coordinator and provide consent before the child’s registration is accepted.
